Mr. Woodrow “Wood” McClain, Jr., 57, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Friday, December 15, 2017, at St.Francis Hospital, Downtown. He was a son of the late Woodrow McClain, Sr., and Mary Louise McKinney McClain.
He was a high school graduate and an employed of Miller Pipeline Corporation.
Left to cherish many fond memories are his wife, Elizabeth Miles McClain of the home; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Walker of Alexandria, VA and Marie Rawles of Washington, DC; three brothers, Mike (Shirley) McClain, Rev. Reginald (Sherry) McClain and Joe (Patricia) McClain, all of Gastonia, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Miles; father-in-law, Don Miles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
