Mr. Willie Lee "Bill" Jones, Jr., was born on June 20, 1934, to the late Willie Lee Jones, Sr., and Vivian Boyd Jones. He was married to the late Lois Crosby Jones.
A 1953 graduate of Sterling High School, he had an extended military service career in the United States Army.. He retired from Marshall Williams & Company.
“Bill” attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed Bible study with his friend, Charles Young.
He was preceded in death by his daughter , Daisy O. Jones, and his brother, Carlton Jones.
He is survived by three sons ,William "Andy" Holmes of Greenville, SC, Delroy Jones of Florida, and Perry Jones of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Dorothy Greer of Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren; a host of relatives in the Crosby family; many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
He is especially missed by his beloved dog, "Gal", and his five grand puppies.
