Mr. Walter Lee “Walt” Hewins, 78, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at home. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Odell and Ida Mae Paden Hewins.
“Walt” attended Sterling High School and was retired after 30 years from the Milliken Plant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Norris Hewins; his son, Mark Hewins; his a sister,Isabel Hewins and his brother, James Hewins.
Left with many fond and loving memories are his sister, Dorothy Harper of Greenville, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
