Minister Truman Christopher Brightman

Minister Truman Christopher Brightman, 51, of Moore, transitioned on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adell R. and Elizabeth Walker Martin and Charlie and Geneva McFadden, Elias C. and Margaret Brightman Simmons, Frank and Nancy Brightman.

Chris's rich legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted parents, Truman and Betty Brightman; his beloved sister, Katrina Damon; his brother-in-love, Barron; his niece, Mariah Strominger (Nathan); his nephew, Joshua Damon; God-siblings, Angela Martin and Avery Martin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Wake Service: Friday, June 5, 2026, 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary.

Funeral Services: Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11:30am, at Foster Grove Baptist Church Chesnee, with interment in the church cemetery.
