Thomas Jr “Tom Cat” Mims, 66, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Accordius Healthcare. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Perry J. and Sallie Bell Pressley Mims.
Surviving: one daughter, Tamika (Charles, Jr.) Berry of Concord, NC; three sisters, Rev. Sallie Taylor, of Easley, SC, Jannie Young of Fayetteville, NC and Joann (Johnny) Nance of Greenville, SC; one brother, Perry Anthony Mims, Piedmont, SC; two grandchildren, Mikayla Williams and Ashonti Wicks; one great grandchild, Damien James Campbell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Thursday, January 4, 2024, 1:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
