Shirley Jenkins Austin

Mrs. Shirley Jenkins Austin, 68, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Greenville Health System. She was a daughter of the late Garfield Jenkins and Willie Ruth Chappell Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Austin; and two sisters, Mary Miller and Annie R. Sherman.

Left to cherish many fond memories; her companion of 30 years, Stanley Richardson of Greenville; four daughters, Anita Jenkins, Hope (Charles) Crawford, Mary (Tonio) Farrow, and Julia (Neco) Williams, all of Greenville; two sisters, Ida Miller and Catherine Jenkins, both of Greenville; three brothers, Benny Jenkins, Garfield (Frankie) Jenkins, and Bruce Jenkins, all of Grenville; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
