Sarah Herbert

Mrs. Sarah Herbert, 77, of 200 McAlister Road, Apt. 19, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Heyward and Margaret Alice Shumate Strawder.

Left to cherish many fond memories is her daughter, Janice D. Herbert of Greenville; sons, Darrell L. (Deborah) Herbert of Simpsonville and Heyward E. (Doris L.) Herbert of Taylors; sisters, Marjorie Walker and Helen Anderson, both of Greenville; brothers, James Strawder of Tehachapi, CA and David R. Strawder of Simpsonville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
