Mrs. Ruby Byrd, 86, of 411 Ansel Street, Magnolia Manor, transitioned on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John and Marie Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Byrd, and three brothers.
Surviving: a son; Donnie Byrd of Easley: daughters; Dorothy Quartey of Omaha, NE, Norma Wallace, Annie Maddox, Betty Byrd, and Eleanor Grant, all of Greenville: sisters; Rosa Bray of Pickens, Jessie Helms, and Annie (Arthur) Everett, both of Long Island, NY: brothers; William Jones of Liberty and Leroy Jones of Easley: and a host of grands.
Funeral Service: Monday, April 7, 2014, 2:00 PM, at New Foundation Baptist Church, with burial in the Church Cemetery.
