Mr. Roy Whitney

Mr. Roy Whitney, 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Newberry County to the late Mr. Albert and Ella Lyles Whitney, he is the husband of Mrs. Marjorie Whitney

Surviving: one daughter, Mrs. Kimberly (Gregory) Tate of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Mrs. Dollie( Roosevelt) Martin, of Columbia, SC; one brother, Mr. William (Margaret) Whitney of Pomaria, SC; special nephew, Mr. James Waldsworth of Newberry, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 1:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
