Mr. Robert "Bob" Hoefer, Jr.

Mr. Robert “Bob” Hoefer, Jr., 68, of Piedmont, husband of Megan Mitchell-Hoefer, transitioned on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Columbia, SC; he was the son of the late Robert Hoefer, Sr. and Dorothy Hoefer.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two daughters: Dr. Ivorie Drayton of Atlanta, GA and Farron J. Hoefer of the home; two sisters: Robin (Rev. Charles Jackson, Sr.) Jackson, of West Columbia, SC; Denise Matt of Columbia, SC; father-in-law Theo Mitchell and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am - Friday, May 1, 2026, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary. His final resting place will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
