Reverend Johnny E. Young

Reverend Johnny Edward Young, 91, of Greenville, husband of Pauline C. Young for 72 years, transitioned on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his residence. Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late Fred Walker Young. He was the last surviving of his immediate family.

Surviving in addition to his wife: one daughter, LaTanya (Odell) Scott of Fountain Inn, SC; two sons, Lance (Allison) Young of Greenville and Fred Marcus Young of Atlanta, GA ; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren: and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, January 14, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
