Reverend Carlton E. "Winkey" Austin,. 66, husband of Pamela Scurry Austin, transitioned on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Joe B. Sr., and Alice Austin Owens.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: two sons, Carlton (Keisha) Austin, II, and Kileon V. (Audrey) Austin, all of Greenville, SC; two brothers, David Earl Austin, and Joe D. (Danielle) Owens all of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 2:00pm, at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
