Pastor Kevin Bernard Davis, Sr. passed away on September 3, 2026, in Simpsonville, South Carolina at the age of 64. Born in Yonkers, New York, Kevin lived a life marked by an abiding love for God, devotion to his family, and a lifelong commitment to ministry.
His spiritual journey profoundly shaped the man he became. Kevin faithfully served with Kingdom Embassy, The Remnant: Kingdom of Intercessors, Beginning Anew, and St. Paul COGIC, touching the lives of many through his ministry and genuine love for people. He treated those he encountered as friends, naturally turning everyday conversations into opportunities for connection, encouragement, and fellowship.
Kevin was also a man who embraced life with an active and joyful spirit. He found great pleasure in biking, walking, and immersing himself in God's creation. Those who knew him knew there was rarely a shortage of conversation when Kevin was around. His loquacious nature, warmth, humor, and ability to connect with people made his presence difficult to forget.
Above all, Kevin cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Pastor Veronica Brabham-Davis; his children, Kevin Bernard Davis, Jr. (Tiffany), Samuel Aaron Davis, and Jordan Simone Davis; his goddaughter Renique Kathryn Brabham, Esq.; and his cherished grandchildren, Harmony Karmelle Davis and Karsten Jahmir Davis.
He is also survived by his mother, Alder Davis; his siblings, Edward Lehman Davis, Jr. (Vashawne), Damon Christopher Davis (Arvita), Johnathan Derren Davis (Debra), Troy Donnell Davis, and Jason Ephraim Davis; his family-in-love, Mary C. Brabham, Apostle Maretta Brabham, and Deacon Matthew E. Brabham, Jr. (LaToisha); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and spiritual family who loved him dearly.
Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved father, Edward Lehman Davis, Sr. and his brother, Prophet Jefferey Jason Davis.
Pastor Kevin Bernard Davis, Sr. leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, friendship, and service. He will be remembered not only for his unmistakable gift for conversation, but for the love and laughter he shared, the people he ministered to, and the relationships he cultivated throughout his life. Though his earthly presence will be deeply missed, the impact of his life and ministry remains in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
