Odena Smith

Mrs. Odena “Bunch” Smith, 94, of 15 Pine Creek Court, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Lula Jane Kirsey Gambrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton T. Smith, sons, Johnny Childs and Anthony Childs, two sisters, and seven brothers.

Surviving: daughters, Barbara (Grady) Gambrell and Judy Childs, of Greenville; sisters, Irene Riley and Eleanor Jones, both of Greenville, and Asree (Harry) Brunner of Simpsonville; brothers, Arnell (Louise) Gambrell of Scotch Plains, NJ and Charles “Kirby” Gambrell of Mauldin; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Sunday, May 17, 2015, 2:00 PM at Word of Faith Christian Fellowship, 218 Tremont Ave, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
