Nicoletta Starks

Miss Nicoletta Urlanda "Nickie" Starks, 61, of Greenville, SC & Roosevelt, New York, passed on Saturday evening, October 28, 2017. Everyone called her "Nickie" and she was always upbeat and the life of the party. She retired from the Nursing Field 10 years ago and decided to head south to be with family.

Greenville has been her home for the past 8 years. She loved her 2 children, Franchetta and Gene, with all her being and adored her 7 grandchildren and cherished her title of "Nana" and "grandma grandma". She is the daughter of Ernestine Canty and the sister of Josh Canty.

Nickie is survived by her mother, Ernestine Canty, Aunt Sonja Smith, Uncle Charles Smith, brother Josh Canty, children Franchetta and Gene, 7 grandchildren, and a host of uncles, cousins, niece, nephew and other relatives and loving friends.
