Ms. Virginia S. Barksdale

Mrs. Virginia S. Barksdale, 90, of Greenville, transitioned on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greenwood, SC;  she was the daughter, of the late Walter Stevens and Pauline Young Stevens.

Surviving: two daughters, Brenda Barksdale, and Betty (Harold) McPhail, all of Greenville, SC; two sons, Lee (Linda) Barksdale, and William Barksdale, all of Greenville, SC; one sister, Willie Pearl Thompson, of Greenville, SC; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 1:00pm, at New Hope Christian Fellowship, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
