Ms. Thomasena Lawrence "Curly" Hampton

Thomasena Lawrence “Curly” Hampton, 78, widow of the late Herbert Hampton Jr, of Piedmont transitioned Wednesday September 23, 2026, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Washington and Ella Louise Boyd Lawrence.

Surviving: two daughters, Tamra (Alison Ricks) Hampton of the home, and Kimberly (John Sr.) Green of Simpsonville, SC; two sisters, Marian Hawthorne and Doris Ashmore, both of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
