Ms. Shirley Ann Chandler

Mrs. Shirley Ann Chandler, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of Ernest Chandler, transitioned on Friday, August 22, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Mersier and Betty Frazier Prince.

Surviving: one daughter, Tracy Johnson of Greenville, SC; god-daughter, Judy Makins, Greenville, SC; four sons, Ricky (Susan) Prince of Gray Court, SC, Rodney (Carla) Prince of Greenwood, SC, and Minister Dexter (Evon) Cason of Simpsonville, SC; three sisters, Kim (Jerry) McNeil of Greensboro, NC, Donna Moore of Newark, NJ, and Charlene Wilkes Odom, of Hillside, NJ; one brother, Curtis Mersier of Newark, NJ; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one bonus grandchild; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, August 29, 2025, 1:00pm, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
