Ms. Sarah Burton, 97, of Greenville, transitioned Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Eugene Sr., and Gladys Goodwin Seaborn.
Surviving: two daughters, Johnnie Mae Simpson of the home, and Angela Grayson of Greenville, SC; one son, John (Janice) Burton, Jr.; six grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Thursday, August 20, 2026, 1:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett, and Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
