Ms. Nellie LeVerne Maddox, 82, of Simpsonville, transitioned on June 10, 2026 at Prisma Healthcare. She was a daughter of the late Haskell Barton and Lula Mae Craig.
Surviving: two daughters, Antonia Barton of Greenville, SC and Angela (Williams) McGowan of Pelzer, SC; one son, Jerome (Lorraine) Maddox of Simpsonville, SC; four sisters, Katherin Rosemond, Joann Carter, Cynthia styles and Shirley Craig all of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
