Ms. Maxine Wright

Ms. Maxine Wright, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, transitioned Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Elbert, Sr. and Florine Ramsey Jenkins.

Surviving: her companion for twenty-seven years, Lawernce West, Sr., of the home; two bonus daughters, A. J. West of Greenville, SC, and Erica (Ian) Hawthorne Charlotte, NC; two bonus sons, Lawrence, Jr.(Rochelle) West of Columbia, SC, and Eric West of Laurens, SC; one sister, Flora Mae Jenkins of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Elbert Jr, and Terry Lee Jenkins, both of Easley, SC; eleven bonus grandchildren; three bonus great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
