Mrs. Mattie Pearl Allgood, 87, of Greenville, widow of the late Willie James Allgood, Sr., transitioned on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at her residence. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Perry lee Hunt and Clara Mae Griffin Watts.
Surviving: three daughters, Mary Allgood of Greenville, SC, Angela (Arthur) Kilgore of Taylors, SC and Tynetia Allgood of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, August 14, 2026, 2:00PM, at Watkins, Garrett, and Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
