Mrs. Mary Magdalene Johnson, 80, of Greenville, widow of the late E. Jacob Johnson, transitioned on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her residence. Born in Dillon, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Vastie Kinney Ellerbe.
Surviving: Francina Johnson of Greenville, SC, Vanessa Davis of Columbia, SC, Selena (Eric) Washpon of Simpsonville, SC and Regina (Joseph) Brown of Murfreesboro, TN; three sons, Jacob (Carol) Johnson of Winter springs, FL, Marvin Johnson (Elizabeth) of Anchorage, AK and Eddie Johnson, Slidell, LA; one brother, Bishop (Ann) Ellerbee, Danville, VA; twenty grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, June 14, 2025, 11:00am at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
