Ms. Mary Bell “Baby Sister” Geter Butler, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Reverend Artess R. and Mrs. Dorothy Richey Geter.
Surviving: one daughter, Sophia Butler Berry of Greenville, SC, and one granddaughter raised from birth in the home as a daughter, Brandi Butler, both of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Priscilla Geter of Duncan, SC, and Ann (Ben) Dillard of Washington, DC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, January 4, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
