Ms. Mary Ellen Austin, 55, of Greenville, transitioned on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Greenville Post Acute. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester Mozell and Mary Lou Nelson Chapman.
Surviving: one son, Jimmy Milton Austin, III of the home; one sister, Gwendalyn (Van) Brooks of Greenville, SC; one brother, James Chapman of Piedmont; her special nieces, Nhyla, Everleigh, special nephew, Carter and special cousin, Caitlin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Thursday, July 31, 2025, 3:30pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
