Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ashmore, 82, of Simpsonville, widow of the late Johnny Ashmore, transitioned on Wednesday July 8, 2026, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late R.B. and Halley Madora "Dora" Brownlee.
Surviving: Granddaughter/daughter raised in the home, Monique Ashmore of Simpsonville, SC; three sons, Patrick Brownlee of Simpsonville, SC, Gregory (Frances) Brownlee of Greenville, SC, and Johnnie (Faye) Ashmore of fountain Inn, SC; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, July 26, 2026, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment, on Monday, July 27, 2026, 11:00am, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
