Ms. Lela Mae McGowan, 74, of Simpsonville, transitioned on Monday, May 12, 2025 at her residence. Born in Martin, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Dora Mae Mayfield Neal.
Surviving: one daughter, Lisa (Christopher) Nance of the home; four sisters, Barbara Jean Pressley of Piedmont, SC, Catherine Scott, Fannie (Marshall) Jackson and Zandra Neal all of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
