Ms. Kamitra Joy Garrett

Ms. Kamitra Joy Garrett, 46, of Taylors, South Carolina, transitioned on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greer, SC. She was the daughter of the late Leroy Montgomery, Sr., and Barbara Gilliam Smith Montgomery.

Surviving: one daughter, Anzane Kearse, of Taylors, SC; three sons, Austin Garrett Montgomery, of Taylors, SC; Jordan Garrett, of Greenville, SC; and Antonio Garrett, of Duncan, SC; (Honorary Sons), Roquevious Hodge, and Zailan Smith, both of Greenville, SC; (Honorary Sisters), Lisa Lipscomb, Taneka Duncan, and Michelle Garner, all of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Leroy Montgomery, Jr., and Robert Montgomery, both of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
