Ms. Ilene Simmons Williams

Ms. Ilene Simmons Williams, 65, of Pelzer, transitioned on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Emory University Hospital, in Atlanta GA, born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of Gracie Rhodes Simmons, and the late Rosman Simmons.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, is her daughter, Kayla (Kevin) Kowal, of Simpsonville, SC; raised in the home, nephews/sons, Jordan Simmons, AJ Simmons, both of Piedmont, SC; and Mitchell Simmons, of Duncan, SC; nieces/daughters, Brianna Simmons, Deanna Simmons, and Zakiya Simmons, all of Piedmont, SC; two sisters, Libby Simmons, of Piedmont, SC; and Kathleen Hendrix, of Greenville, SC; two brothers, James Simmons, of Pelzer, SC; and David Lee (Vonda) Simmons, of Easley, SC; two grandchildren, Miles Kowal and Jonah Kowal, both of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Thursday, November 20, 2025, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.

Funeral Services: Friday, November 21, 2025, 12:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, SC.
