Ms. Edna Mae Blake

On November 18, 2024, Edna Mae Blake transitioned to eternal rest. She was a member of the Shoals Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Hattie Mae Blake, her sister Essie Adams, her brothers Thomas Blake, James “Pete” Blake, and Bishop Woodrow Blake.

She is survived by four sisters, Shirley Blake, Margaret Robinson, Genivieve Johnson, Sarah Mays: four brothers BK Blake, Henry Lee Blake, Bobby (Diane) Blake, Lonnie (Min. Barbara) Blake, a nephew reared in the home Frazer (Lisa) Blake and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved her dearly. 

Edna Mae Loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She was a home maker who loved gardening and being outside. She was sweet, peaceful, soft-spoken and had a gentle spirit. Because of her love and relationship with the Lord she lived a full life.
