Mrs. Carolyn Jean Scott

Mrs. Carolyn Jean Scott, 66, of Greenville, wife of Rev. Richard Lloyd Scott, Sr., of the home, transitioned on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Joe Hill and Minnie Lee Byrd.

Surviving: in addition to her husband, one daughter, Nakemia (Tony) Woodham, of Greenville, SC; one son, Richard (Ashley) Scott, Jr., of Greenville, SC; one sister, Stephanie (Erick) Jenkins, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Richard D. (Lanita) Hill, of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 27, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
