Mrs. Aretha Ann Dendy

Mrs. Aretha Ann Dendy, 72, of Greenville, wife to Terry Dendy of the home, transitioned on Friday April 10, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Edna Jean Lipford Gaines, and the late CleArthur Anderson.

Surviving: in addition to her husband and mother, three daughters, Lisa Beyah, of Greenville, SC; Yolanda Thompson, of Charlotte, NC; and Cynthia Anderson, of Greenville, SC; four sons, David (Chrissy) Heard, Nikim Dendy, Terry (Elouise) Anderson, and Jason (Shanna) Dendy, all of Greenville, SC; bonus sister, Daisy Hill, of Jamaica, NY; two bonus brothers, Ricky Williams, of Brooklyn, NY; and David (Gloria) Williams, Jr., of Spokane, WA; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, April 25, 2026, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
