Mrs. Unzell Dixon, 75, of Greenville, wife of Calvin Dixon, transitioned on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Byrd and Juanita Hawkins Byrd.
Surviving: in addition to her husband , one son David (Valenkia) Byrd of Greenville, SC; one special sister, Laura Peters of Greenville, SC; four brothers, Marsaisa (Jennifer) Byrd, of L.A, Reynold Keith (Constance) Byrd of Columbia, SC, Geno (Pamela) Hill of Charlotte NC, and Karrey Byrd of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, October 4,2026, 1:00 pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
