Pastor Shirleen Booker, 82, of Simpsonville, wife of James Booker, Jr., transitioned on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James Austin and Annie Brooks.
Surviving: in addition to her husband, two daughters, Annie Booker, of Simpsonville, SC; and Mary Sarah (Johnathan) Gaffney, of Georgia, four sons, Charles (Nicky) Booker, Sherman (Sylvia) Lyles, all of Piedmont, SC; James E. (Vicky) Booker, of Florida; and Richard (Rita) Booker, of Greenville, SC; twenty seven grandchildren, fifty one great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, March 7, 2026, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
