Mrs. Sara Jean Valentine, 69, of Greenville, wife of Donald Valentine for 28 years, transitioned on Friday, March 27, 2026, Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late, Robert June Cureton and Ruby Sloan Cureton.
Surviving, in addition to her husband: one daughter, Sherika Cureton, of Greenville, SC; one son, Jamaya Cureton of Greenville, SC; one bonus son, Torrey Mike, of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Alice (James) Rosemond, of Pelzer, SC, Beverly Cureton, of Greenville, SC and Cheryl (Lonnie) Massey, of Greenville, SC; one brother, James Cureton, of Greenville, SC; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, April 11, 2026, 2:00pm, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
