Mrs. Myrtle Holmes

Mrs. Myrtle Holmes, 82, of Greenville, SC, widow of the late David Marcelus Holmes transitioned on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital Downtown Greenville. Born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, she is the daughter of Jeremiah and Chaney McKinney Gray.

Surviving: Darlene (Sidney) DuBose of Farmington, MI, Dana Holmes of Warren MI, Donita Holmes of Eastpointe, MI and Dea (Earnest) Weathers, Harrison Township, MI; two sisters, Telora McGowens of Travelers Rest, SC and Barbara Linda (Choise) Murray of Sugar Land, Texas; one brother, Arthur Lee (Sharon) Gray of Greenville, SC ; four grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
