Mrs. Minnie Joyce Smith, 67, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away Saturday August 31, 2024, at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Norman Beaty, and Birdie Mae Green Beaty.
Surviving: her loving husband, Kenneth Smith, of the home, one daughter, Chauncey Beaty, of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Orji (Dejernette) Beaty, of Arlington, VA; five sisters, Maxine (Raymond) Beaty, Barbara (Leon) Sullivan, Deloris (Roosevelt) Brooks, all of Greenville, SC; Birdie Beaty Faulkner, of Jacksonville, NC; and Sherline Fields, of Simpsonville, SC; one brother, David(Doris) Beaty, of Mauldin, SC; three grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, September 7, 2024, 2:30pm, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
