Mrs. Michele Richards Cureton, 65, of Hinesville, Georgia, wife of James Cureton, transitioned on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her residence. Born in Newark, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Albert Lee Richards, and Sarah Lucinda Kirksey.

Surviving: in addition to her husband, one daughter, Quintessa Cureton, of the home, two sons, James D. Cureton, of Greenville, SC; and Jarvis T. Cureton, of Hinesville, SC; a special uncle, James Kirksey, of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Brenda (Floyd) Ross, of Mentone, CA; Cynthia Kirksey, of Newark, NJ; and Cassandra Kirksey, of Colonia, NJ; two grandchildren, Ja’zairia Cureton, and Abigail Kirksey, both of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
