Mrs. Michele Richards Cureton

Mrs. Michele Richards Cureton, 65, of Hinesville, Georgia, wife of James Cureton, transitioned on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her residence. Born in Newark, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Alberto Lee Richards, and Sara Lou Kirksey.

Surviving: in addition to her husband, one daughter, Quintessa Cureton, of the home, two sons, James D. Cureton, of Greenville, SC; and Jarvis T. Cureton, of Hinesville, GA; ; three sisters, Brenda (Floyd) Ross, of Mentone, CA; Cynthia Kirksey, of Newark, NJ; and Cassandra Kirksey, of Colonia, NJ; one brother, Oliver Kirksey of Charlotte, NC two grandchildren, Ja’zairia Cureton, and Abigail Kirksey, both of Greenville, SC; ;one aunt, Vergie Hooks; uncle, James (Sue) Kirksey, of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Sunday, August 31, 2025, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
