Mrs. Mary Magalene "Ossie" Stephens

Mrs. Mary Magalene "Ossie" Stephens, 84, of Greenville, wife of John Stephens, transitioned on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Berkley County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Alease Johnson.

Surviving: in addition to her husband, one daughter, Mary Fletcher Stephens, of Greenville, SC; three sons, James (Rachel) Stephens, of Easley, SC; Darryl (Wanda) Stephens, and John Stephens, both of Greenville, SC; four brothers, Jesse Johnson, of Simpsonville, SC; Arthur Johnson, Calvin (Jenelle) Johnson, and Joe Johnson, Jr., all of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and other extended family and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, October 3, 2026, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
