Mrs. Margaret Lykes

Mrs. Margaret Lykes, 93, of Simpsonville, widow of the late Charles Ward Lykes, Sr., transitioned on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Lena Miles White.

Surviving: two daughters, Margaret Elaine Ferguson of Simpsonville, SC and Brenda Colette Lykes of the home; one son, Charles Ward (Diane) Lykes, Jr. of Mauldin, SC; two sisters, Mildred McKelvey and Frances Simpson both of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Natasha Lykes, Brian Ferguson, Jermaine Ferguson; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
