Mrs. Maebell Durham Smith, 90, of Greenville, widow of the late Washington E. Smith, transitioned on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Willie Cora Thompson Durham.
Surviving: five daughters, Mary (Larry) Thomas, Joyce (Eugene, Jr.) Wiggins, Beverly (Dennis) Harris and Cynthia Bradley all of Greenville, SC and Jacqueline (Eugene) Webb of Simpsonville, SC; two sons, Thomas Chalmers and Harry Durham both of Greenville, SC; one bonus son, Christopher Walker of Easley, SC; seventeen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 1:00pm Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
