Mrs. Joann Lester, 81, of Greenville, wife of Bobby Louis Lester for 59 years, transitioned on Friday, April 3, 2026, at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geneva Pepper Flemming.
Surviving, in addition to her husband: four daughters, Adrian Lester of the home, Mia Wakefield, Barbara Lester and Krishni “Krissie” Lester all of Greenville, SC; one sister, Janie (Willie) Young of Mauldin, SC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2:00pm, at Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
