Mrs. Janie Lou Hamilton

Mrs. Janie Lou Hamilton 90, of Greenville, widow to Lee Westien Hamilton, Sr., transitioned on Saturday September 6, 2025 at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Elsie Dean Goldsmith.

Surviving: one daughter, Verna Lee (James Claude) Dendy, of Greenville, SC; three sons, Lee (Kathy) Westien Hamilton, Jr., and Patrick (Lela) Hamilton, both of Piedmont, SC; and Walter (Sabrina) Hamilton, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Harold Goldsmith, of Gaffney, SC; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, September 19, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
