Mrs. Gloria Ann Richardson

Mrs. Gloria Ann Richardson, 64, wife of Derrick Richardson for 29 years, transitioned on Monday February 23, 2026 at Prisma Healthcare Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of Sandra Ayers Avery and the late Milton Avery.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother: two sons, Cryst White, Jr. of the home and Rick Richardson; two sisters, Carol (Jeffery) Van Dykes, of Greenbelt, MD and Shana Avery, of Cary NC; three brothers, Tony Anthony Avery, Timothy Wayne Avery both of Garner, NC and Douglas Chip (Bridgette) Avery of Clinton, MD; one grandchild, Ryland Richardson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, March 6, 2026, 3:30pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
