Mrs. Donnette Jones

Mrs. Donnette Jones,78, of Greenville, wife of Claude Jones for 49 years, transitioned on Friday, December 26, 2025 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Barbara Nell Heyward McGowan.

Surviving, in addition to her husband: two daughters, Chriscethia Greggs of Piedmont, SC and Angela (Andrew) Deloach of Greenville, SC; two sons, James (Rhonda) Norton of Greenville, SC and Darren Norton of Simpsonville, SC; two sisters, Thomasina McIntyre of Fountain Inn, SC and Angerena McKinney of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Steve McGowan and Wilburn both of Greenville, SC; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Sunday, January 4, 2026, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
