Mrs. Carolyn Emmalee Stokes

Mrs. Carolyn Emmalee Stokes, 86, of Easley, South Carolina, wife of the late William Roscoe Stokes, Sr., for 35 years transitioned on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Prisma Easley Baptist Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Roy and Estelle Hallums Jamison, Sr.

Surviving: four daughters, Connie Stokes of Easley, Beverly Rogers of Greenville, Wilhelminia Cheeks of Easley, and Carol V. Stokes of Easley; one bonus daughter, Sharon Tutt of Greenville; daughters-in-law, Marlene Stokes; two sons, Michael Stokes of Easley, SC;  and William (Nikedra) Stokes, Jr., of Piedmont, SC; two sisters, Jeanette Oglesby of Norris, Betty Jo Jamison of Greenville,; one bonus sister, Linda Holloway of Greenville; four brothers, Roy “Oochie” Jamison, Jr. of Liberty, James “Buck” Jamison of Norris, Jerry Jamison of Central and Charles (Denise) McDowell of Liberty; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, April 11, 2026, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Mauldin Cemetery, Easley SC.
