Mrs. Bobbie Jean "Bob" Golden Young, 79, of Piedmont, South Carolina, transitioned on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her residence. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Golden, Jr., and Clara Bell Dogan Golden.
Surviving: two daughters, Robin Ann Young, of Piedmont, SC; Lavet (Dr. Cleve) Pilot, of Columbia, SC; one son, Michael Young, of the home; two sisters, Glorice Pruitt, of Fountain Inn, SC, and Doris (Willie) Lewis, of New Jersey; one brother, Matthew (Brenda) Golden, of Belton, SC; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, March 15, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
