Mrs. Alvon B. Geyer, 74, of Greenville, widow of the late Guenter Johannes Geyer, transitioned on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at McCall Hospice, Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late George and Lela Mae Young Scurry.
Surviving: one son, Josh Suber (Sophia Fugate) of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Lois Freeman and Pamela (Reverend Carlton) Austin, both of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, April 13, 2025, 4:00pm, at Poplar Spring Missionary Baptist Church, with interment private.
The family will be receiving family and friends at 12 Tucson Dr, Greenville, SC 29617, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
