Master Za'mier Messiah Marshawn Neal

Master Za'Mier Messiah Marshawn Neal, age 9, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on June 3, 2026. He was the beloved son of Zandrayl and Alisha Neal.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Milton Williams and Wayne Cardell Jones Sr. his great-grandfather, James Fuller; and his great-grandmother, Evelyn Fuller. 

Za'Mier was a vibrant spirit who brought immense joy to everyone he met. He was a rising fifth-grade student at Robert E. Cashion Elementary School. When he wasn’t in school, Za’Mier enjoyed drawing, singing, playing his instruments, and spending time outdoors with friends. His creativity, energy, and love for life were evident in everything he did. His bright smile, loving heart, and energetic personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Za'Mier leaves to cherish precious memories: one sister, Za’Kyria Jones-Neal; and three brothers, Zandrayl Neal Jr., Za’Kaius Neal, and Za'Maye Neal, all of the home; his maternal grandmother, Denise Henderson; paternal grandmother, Zandra Neal; and bonus grandmother, Lydia Gambrell. In addition to his grandmothers, he leaves behind three aunts: Doris Downs (Ron), Shanita Henderson (Blake), and Zanandra Neal; five uncles: Wayne Jones Sr., Casey Jones,Rayco Henderson, Zanadro Neal, and Rico Brown; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Funeral Services: Monday, June 15, 2026, 1:00pm, at St. Matthew Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens, 3:00pm.
