Mr. William Elree"WR" Bowens, 95, of Easley, South Carolina, transitioned on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence. Born in Easley, SC; he was the son of the late Odell and Cassie Murphy Bowens. He was husband of the late Geneva Adams Bowens.
Surviving: two daughters, Frances Thomason, and Loretta (Jerome) Madden, all of Simpsonville, SC; one son, William Rudolph (Teresa) Bowens, of Easley, SC; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, March 4, 2025, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Shoals Creek Baptist Church, Dacusville, SC.
